The school celebrated the Feast Day of Mary Aikenhead, the Sister who founded the Sisters of Charity.

The children were asked to wear colonial dress. The children had lessons in their classroom just as they did in 1830's. After recess the children experienced a flag raising ceremony with the Union Jack and the singing of the national anthem God Save our Queen. This was followed by  a period of marching which is good for the body and soul.

🥞 Stage 2 Pancake Tuesday Celebration! 🥞 Our Stage 2 students celebrated Pancake Tuesday together! Shrove Tuesday is traditionally the day before the season of Lent begins. Long ago, families used up rich ingredients like eggs, milk, and sugar before a time of fasting — and what better way to use them than by making pancakes! 🥞✨ We’re looking forward to a wonderful day of learning, tradition, and tasty pancakes with our students. #PancakeTuesday #Stage2Fun #SchoolCommunity #stcaniceskatoomba #cspdparramatta
