Sky Country – Solidarity and Hope: Learning Together Then, Now and Always.
We are excited to share this meaningful learning journey with you as we explore First Nations perspectives, connection to Country, and the hope we build by learning together — then, now, and always. By nurturing communities that understand and value Aboriginal perspectives and identity, we take steps toward a more just and inclusive future for all.
The launch will feature:
- A smoking ceremony
- Class rotations with CSPD Jarara Team
- Recess

🎉 100 Days of Kindergarten! 🎉 Today we celebrated 100 days of learning, laughter, and growth in Kindergarten at St Canice’s! Our youngest learners marked the occasion by dressing up as their 100-year-old selves — complete with glasses and walking sticks. 👵👴 A huge thank you to our parents and carers who joined us for the celebration. To mark 100 days of Kindergarten, we’re inviting our Kinder students to come to school dressed as their 100-year-old selves! It’s a fun way to celebrate this milestone and reflect on how much we’ve grown and learned. We can’t wait to see our little old souls in action! 📅 Tuesday 29th July 🕣 Kinder Parents and carers are invited to join us for a short celebration in the Kindergarten classroom from 8:40am. Dear Parents and Carers, This Wednesday, 6th August is Jersey Day. Students are invited to wear a jersey from their favourite sports team. This initiative was inspired by Rupert from Year 6 and has been organised by our Stage 3 Faith in Action Team to raise awareness for schools that do not have the sports equipment they need to learn, play and grow. Thank you for supporting our students in their efforts to think of others and make a difference.

📣 Brekky Club – Term 3 Update 🍽️ Dear Parents and Carers, We’ve made some changes to our Brekky Club schedule for this term. Brekky Club will now run on Thursdays – 7th, 21st, and 28th August. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with preparation, serving, and clean-up on these mornings. If you’re available to help, please complete the google form that was sent to you via your Compass Parent Portal and we will be in touch to confirm your involvement. Brekky Club is a valued initiative that helps ensure our students start the day nourished and ready to learn – thank you for your support! 💛
